Crataeva bark | Crataeva nurvala | Organic
$9.00 – $20.00
Crataeva bark is a valued remedy for urinary issues such as urinary tract infections and kidney stones. It also helps with the tone of the bladder muscle.
In one study patients with urinary stones were treated for 4 weeks with a decoction of Crataeva. Treatment with Crataeva shifted the relative proportion of urinary electrolytes, particularly those that participate in stone formation, towards the non-lithogenic (non-stone forming). (1)
Crataeva is also useful for men with enlarged prostate which can affect bladder tone. After treatment with the C. nurvala decoction the symptoms, frequency of urination, incontinence, pain, and retention of urine, significantly improved. The expulsive force of urination was increased. Bladder tone improved significantly and in addition, the volume of residual urine was reduced. (1)
Crataeva should be used for at least 4 weeks and up to 3 months depending on the problem.
All of our teas are organic or wild harvested from natural surroundings. Enjoy!
