Hair of the Dog | Liver Tea
$15.00 – $60.00
Hair of the Dog is indeed a liver tea that protects and induces liver detoxification. Yes it can be drunk before and after indulging in alcohol, heavy meals and daily for those around chemical exposure i.e. builders, painters, and the like. This tea does taste a little bitter and sour all at the same time. It can be drunk 3 x daily for a more intense effect. This may produce some feelings of discomfort initially as the liver releases stored waste into the bloodstream but should clear after a day or two and a nice healthy energetic feeling should take its place after a week or so. It is a nice process to go through and once cleared the tea can be drunk at a lower dose, say 1 cup a day for the ongoing benefits.
This tea contains: Milk thistle seed, Schisandra berry, Dandelion root, Burdock root, Liquorice root and Cinnamon.
All of our herbal tea blends are created by us and are made from quality local {where possible} and imported herbs from mainly organic herb farms. Quality dried herbs should look and smell fresh and will give a longer infusion time. To learn how to make herbal teas in your own home check out our courses on tea making.
30 grams will last just over a week and 80 grams will last for up to a month when drunk daily. Reuse leaves 2-3 times until spent. Enjoy!
