Horsetail, named due to its appearance, is a traditional European remedy. It is used for acute bladder and prostate infections as well as for kidney stones.
Horsetail also has the highest Silica content of any herb – therefore it is used for conditioning and strengthening the hair, skin and nails as well as bone and connective tissue.
