Kiwiherb Ginger & Kawakawa Tonic
$33.80
This tonic is a multitasker! First of all it is a circulatory tonic, essential for those winter blues that affect the hands and feet, you know, gone white ~ no blood whatsoever in them! This is a hard knuckle to crack {so to speak} so some hard core circulatory stimulants are called for ~ luckily we have Ginger and Kawakawa ~ Kawakawa is a NZ native herb that you can almost taste in your mouth afterwards for about 5 minutes! It tingles and numbs the nerves – lulling them into a false sense of security ~ just what cold hands need! So if that’s you, then dose up on this, this winter, cos you will need it. Ginger also warms you from the inside out ~ ‘warming’ but not ‘hot’ like Cayenne. It starts in the throat and moves its way down to the stomach until finally the ends of the limbs start to feel it ~ aaaaah nice.
But wait, there’s more. This combination is also a strengthening digestive, improving the gastric function both as a relaxant {Kawakawa}, a stimulant {Ginger} and a coolant {Peppermint}. So you can add it to warm water as it tastes great and drink it with meals to help digest that winter’y food. Who needs alcohol?
Although rumour has it that it tastes great with a good NZ made gin ~ just sayin’.
