Oatstraw | Avena sativa | Organic
$8.00 – $35.00
Oatstraw is primarily a nervine, thymoleptic and anti-depressant. A thymoleptic is an agent which helps restore and relax the nervous system. Aventhramides appear to play a leading role here.
Oatstraw also benefits the metabolic system with conditions such as diabetes and high cholesterol benefitting from daily use. The fibre and beta-glucans help lower cholesterol and blood glucose.
Oatstraw is found in our anxiolytic tea Dr Feelgood as well as our Nervine Tonic Point Break.
Oatstraw and cut oats can also be used topically in a bath where they soothe irritated and itchy skin conditions and help restore the cutaneous membrane.
All of our teas are organic or wild harvested from natural surroundings. Enjoy!
