Roasted Dandelion & Burdock root | Organic
$10.00 – $18.00
Dandelion root is a common herb tea as its flavour once roasted makes it a delicious slightly bitter substance with a similarity in taste to coffee.
Dandelion root acts on the liver and gall bladder to create and release bile, therefore it is often helpful for people who don’t have a gall bladder and helps improve fat digestion if drunk with meals. Bile also helps with overall digestion and therefore Dandelion root has a mild laxative effect making it a great daily cup of tea for those who notice the improved bowel movements when using Dandelion root.
Dandelion also contains Inulin a prebiotic so it also simulates the growth of bacteria that reside in the gut. (1)
Burdock root is a gentle diuretic which helps clear the blood and therefore helps with skin conditions.
The two herbs make a great pair in terms of taste as well as actions.
