Sandersons Krill oil is the Krill oil we stock by choice. It contains the highest Astaxanthin content of any of the Krill oils on the market. Sandersons also produces this in a 1500mg capsule which provides more Omega 3 than other Krill oil brands. That way you are getting more Omega 3 as well as the beneficial phospholipids and Astaxanthin per capsule. Astaxanthin is a carotene which gives the Krill oil a red colour. Astaxanthin has had some good research showing it benefits skin, eye and joint health {http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16562856}. Krill oil differs from Fish oil and can be more beneficial in some cases because of the type of oil it is. Those who find it hard to digest fats {gall bladder removal} or who get reflux when taking fish oil may find Krill oil more suitable. This is because it is a phospholipid.
