Siberian Ginseng root is a prized remedy with valuable properties for modern day health issues. There was early research done by Russia to determine the constituents and properties of the herb, and it has a long history of use.

As an immunomodulator it both inhibits some aspects of inflammation and upregulates other aspects of immunity. The polysaccharide fraction increases T-lymphocytes, Natural killer cells and interferon – all aspects of a healthy initial immune response. (1)

The herbs is also used alongside cancer treatments whereby the extract can help the body recover from cytotoxic therapies and help protect healthy cells from damage.  (1)

As an adaptogen Siberian Ginseng helps the body adapt to stress including radiation, mental performance, athletic performance, improved oxygen intake, reduced general illness in users including influenza, reduced cough during respiratory illness, reduced hypertension, increased visual and auditory acuity and increased stamina.
