Skullcap leaf | Scutellaria lateriflora | Organic
$8.00 – $17.50
Skullcap leaf is a premium nervine tonic and is widely used among herbalists for its relaxing and sedative actions.
Skullcap has historically been used to calm the nervous system and as an anti-convulsant (3). It is useful for anxiety states, nervous tension, insomnia and tension headaches.
It appears to work on the GABA pathway. (4)
In one study it improved mood in non-anxious volunteers (2).
Skullcap is found in our Dr Feelgood tea, our Better Sleep tea and our Dream Weaver tonic.
All of our teas are organic or wild harvested from natural surroundings. Enjoy!
