The Henna Tree

We are the only stockists of The Henna Tree in New Zealand. This range of Henna is pure and natural, mixed with other herbs such as Indigo, Manjistha, Hibiscus, Methi, Cassia, Henna, Alma, Bhringraj and Brahmi to create this beautiful shade range.

Traditionally, henna is used to adorn the hands and feet of women for celebrations such as weddings, anniversaries and pregnancy.

The Henna Tree sources their Henna from Northern India, where they are naturally grown and mixed with other herbs for the vibrant colours we see here.

See below for the range of colours:

Indigo gives a Blue-Black colour. Indigo will fade over time and then can become permanent. If you are dyeing your hair with Indigo for the first time and have mostly grey or blonde hair, you will need to apply Rich Auburn (pure henna) first.

Dark Brown will give shades of Natural Dark Brown. Dark Brown will fade and then can become permanent. If you are dyeing your hair with Dark Brown for the first time and have mostly grey or blonde hair, you will need to apply Rich Auburn (pure henna) first.

Brown Ochre will give shades of Chestnut Brown. Brown Ochre will fade and then can become permanent.

Golden Brown will give shades of Golden Browns. Golden Brown will fade and then can become permanent.

Rich Auburn gives shades of Copper Red. Rich auburn should be used before using the darker hair colours when covering grey. Henna will fade and then can become permanent.

Deep Copper Red will give shades of copper red to deep red tints. Henna will fade and then can become become permanent.

Mango Moon gives shades of Copper. Mango Moon will fade and then can become permanent.

Cassia Clear is a wonderful conditioning hair treatment for dry and damaged hair. It does not give any colour. Use if you want to condition the hair.

These colours are a guide only and will depend on what colour your original hair is.
