This White tea is a lovely, crisp, clean tea. This is a quality organic white tea which is far superior to other tea you may have tried. A white tea can be described as the same flavour profile as black tea but without any tannin or bitter stength.
White tea has many antioxidant properties. It is not rolled or oxidized, resulting in a flavour characterized as “lighter” than most green or black tea. Its name derives from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant, which give the plant a whitish appearance
White tea is not fermented or roasted unlike green or black tea, so its constituents vary. It is thought that the antioxidant activity similar to green tea (1)
Tea has a long history of use dating back over 5000 years and been used medicinally in many Asian countries.
