Sandersons Smarty Fish 120 chewable caps

Sandersons Smarty Fish is part of our children’s range of Fish oils. We have tested this product ourselves and found it to be one of the best retail Fish oil products for children on the market. This also has a pleasant orange flavour which children will love similar to a chewable vitamin C lolly. These capsules contain a good amount of DHA the Omega 3 fatty acid that brains suck up like a vaccume cleaner! Our brains are 60% fat and need these oils especially during childhood as the brain is developing and being used. Omega 3 oils keep the cells healthy and flexible meaning nutrients can enter easily and waste can be removed efficiently. DHA has been shown to improve brain function in many clinical studies {http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24334113}. Being a brain health supplement they have also added Iodine, Vitamin E, Zinc and Colostrum for Immune health also. The dose range is 1 capsule daily for children under 5, kids age 5-10 can take 2 capsules daily.

Fish oil contains the important and necessary Omega 3 fatty acids necessary for cellular health and for controlling inflammation. Our own anti-inflammatory chemicals and brains are influenced by Omega 3 oils. When these are not present in the diet we become deficient. So long as they are of good quality we are getting the benefits of the Omega oils present. Issues such as eczema and asthma should dose at 2 daily but for general maintenance and brain health 1 a day is fine. This product is a good price and we simply recommend it as a daily fish oil for those whose kids prefer capsules to liquid.
